Phil Watson C Ped (C), COFS

Phil Watson started working in the field of custom–made footwear in 1973. He attended the Pedorthic Program in 1981 and 1982 at Ballstate University. After completion of the program he spent three years teaching, designing, and implementing a number of shoe projects in southern Africa.

In 1988, Phil Watson was accredited with the designation of Certified Orthopedic Footwear Specialist (COFS) in the designing and making of custom-made orthopedic footwear. He is registered with the College of Pedorthics of Canada as a COFS as well as C Ped (c).

Mr. Watson is also a placement supervisor for the Diploma in Pedorthics Program at the University of Western Ontario.

In addition to his contribution to the clinical team in Dundas, Phil also conducts weekly clinics at the Inflammatory & Mechanical Foot Disorder Clinic in Hamilton and the Gane Yohs Health Centre in Ohsweken.

Andy Wong B.Sc, C Ped (C)

Andy Wong is a Certified Pedorthist, registered with the College of Pedorthics of Canada. His personal need for orthotic use has led him to pursue a career in Pedorthics. Andy graduated from University of Waterloo in 2009 with a Kinesiology Degree. He also attended the Prosthetic / Orthotic Technician Program at George Brown College.

Andy spent the first two years of his pedorthic career at BioPed in Markham as an apprentice. He joined the Ambulatory Footwear® Pedorthic Team in January 2015. Andy is excited to learn the arts of custom orthopedic shoemaking for various diabetic complications as well as other foot conditions.

In addition to seeing clients on a daily basis at our main facility in Dundas, Andy also operates a Pedorthic clinic at Gane Yohs Health Centre in Ohsweken, Ontario.
